Dining: Statement Lighting

The light in my dining room is the main statement piece in the open living space of my house. It gets peoples attention straight away, most comments being about the size of it. You can see how each room joins into this space including a sneak peek of my dream kitchen (post to come soon).

The light is a David Trubridge 'Coral' 800mm . Usually once someone comments on the light I will switch it on for them. Like the entrance lights the pattern is amazing. At night time the pattern continues over family room and kitchen.

When choosing a dining set I knew a square table would suit the space best. I also wanted 8 seats to allow more space when having guests over for a meal. Whilst the chairs are white which may seem crazy with young children, they are leather and easy to wipe down. They stay much cleaner than our old suede look brown ones.

Hi I love the look of the light! How high are your ceilings and also what is the height between the top of the table and the base of the lightshade? Thank you.
