The Block: Week 2 - Bathrooms

What stunning, huge bathrooms. I had to go back through the photos to take them all in again. Each bathroom had its own 'wow' feature. Chris & Jenna's bathroom was my favourite, I loved all the natural light above their shower, the his/hers large sinks and the storage in the vanity. I cannot fault a thing in their bathroom, neither could the judges with all 3 of them giving perfect 10's. With a score of 30/30 this made Chris & Jenna this weeks winners.

I really love their choice of tiles -  Mono Hexagonal Black Matt Mosaic and Concrete Fuse Lappato from Beaumont Tiles.

You can get the Paris Cage Lights ($250) from The Block Shop. Other styles you may like are Mechanics Cage Pendant ($89.95) from Beacon and Mad Max ($147.50) from Empirical Style.

The towels are Ultra Light Luxury Towels from Sheridan in Jade and Charcoal (pictured). Otherwise you can find similar colours in the Flinders Egyptian Range from Adairs - Emerald or Coal.

The hand towels were rolled nicely and placed onto this Host Platter 'Oak' (29.95) from Freedom. You could also add an Orchid in Cermaic Pot ($24.50 on sale) from Target

Did you noticed this unique soap? Its a Black Onyx Soap ($24.95) from Soap Rocks

Often on The Block or in magazines there are fancy looking bottles of shampoo, soap, body wash and so on. They are usually a dark bottle with a simple label. Kmart have released a new range for only $8 each

Products are Australian made & not tested on animals

The only problem with this show is that it makes me think of more things I should have organised for our house. It is incredible what they have done. Chris and Jenna deserved to win. Their bathroom is so luxurious and has a Melbourne feel to it. I thought the "rock" was a bit odd, but now you tell me it's a soap, I understand. Better than an onion, I suppose!

Hehe a rock certainly would have been an interesting choice. I know the feeling... i'm having serious tile envy!
